The ALPS course is aimed at bar and counter staff working in licensed premises. It provides an understanding of the responsibility to sell alcohol lawfully and responsibly, explaining the basics of licensing law – which licences are required to sell alcohol, which activities are licensable and what the licensing objectives are. The course focuses on the importance of responsible retailing and not selling alcohol to underage customers or to people who are drunk.
Duration: 60 minutes
Valid: Up to 1 year after purchase.
Assessment: Upon completion of the course, learners will complete an end of learning assessment consisting of 20 questions. 70% of the questions will need to be answered correctly in order to pass and receive a certificate.
