A Dad and and now recently a Grampa, I was born in Glasgow, but from 19 spent the next 20 years both in the UK and abroad, focusing on both small and mass incident medical management situations all over the globe. I decided to focus my knowledge more academically and went back to University and completed a Risk Management & Law Degree. During my degree I also joined the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (Retained) which allowed me to refocus on the real life factors within people safety and people health. As a Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) and Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (MIIRSM) I am still enjoying learning and continue to lead where I can. Hi, I'm Scott Norman. I started off by studying Risk Management at University and have since gone on to build on this experience working in the Health, Safety and Risk discipline for the past 4 years. During this time I have built up a multitude of knowledge and management skills across a range of industries and recently achieved Chartered status with IOSH. I'm from the West Coast of Scotland and recently got engaged to my fiancé Katie.
